Business History: Founded by James Nadler in 1954, Peotone Animal Hospital was originally started as a rural farm animal practice. In its fifty years’ of business, it has since grown into a thriving small animal hospital with ambulatory services for farm animals and horses. The business is still at its original address, however, a complete remodel of the original building was completed in the year 2000. The hospital features state of the art equipment for treatment services, two examination rooms, boarding facilities for cats and dogs, a surgical room, laboratory, and a spacious reception/waiting area. Upon his retirement in 1994, Dr. Nadler turned over the reins to his son and daughter-in-law, Jay & Yvonne Nadler. In addition to Jay & Yvonne, there are also 5 other veterinarians on staff. In all, Peotone Animal Hospital employs 21 staff members who provide the finest care to the areas’ animals – furry, feathered or otherwise!
