Brief History of First Community Bank and Trust: Teresa’s has been owned and operated by family since 1957 for three generations. Production of frozen pizzas began in 1957 at the Main Street location in Peotone. Twelve inch cheese and sausage pizzas were the first to be produced, expanding to production of several varieties of thin crust, self-rise, premium, and white sauce. Teresa’s also produces Mega sized pizzas and Italian Beef, which are distributed to supermarkets, and bars in Illinois and Indiana. Supplies for concessions, food services, and fundraisers are also products and services provided by Teresa Foods. Teresa’s also ships their products nationwide under several private labels. Their product has been available at the Will County Fair for the last 45 years under the Beer Tent. Come visit them as they celebrate 50 years of family business this August!

Memorable moments in company’s history: Once President of the Peotone Chamber of Commerce, in 1987, Paul Nagel Sr. brought several events and dignitaries to town. Among them being: Former Cub, Ernie Banks, former White Sox, Minnie Minosa, Bob Kennedy, Chrystal Gayle, Stormy Weather and Joel Daley. Events included Peotone Days, Country Christmas, and lots of fun at the Will County Fair.
