Brief history of your business: Business was founded over 60 years ago by Atty. Thomas L. Clinton, who was eventually joined by my father, B.R. Tongren, in partnership. At one time or another, other lawyers (besides myself), in the firm included John Rademacher, Evan D. Roberts, Robert S. Grim, and Thomas J. Knuth. There have been many secretaries employed over the years including Gloria Thiesfeld, Beverly Moenk, Sylvia Schmidt, Shirley Younker, Rita Smith, Kathy Shanahan, and Pat Borchart. My current secretary is Tammy Riechers who has worked diligently for me for the past 7 years.

Memorable moments in firm’s history: Presenting oral arguments for a case in front of the Illinois Supreme Court in Springfield.
